I have worked in full service firms, elite litigation boutiques, in specialized corporate commercial practice, and as in-house counsel for a technology company in the oil and gas sector.  I have been called to the bar in both Ontario (2002) and Alberta (2005).  I consider myself extremely blessed to have had the opportunity to serve in so many different ways.

My journey in life & law.

We are a young Christian family that loves the outdoors, our friends, and most of all God.  We split our time between the mountains, work, and our church, and we chose the location of our home and office in Calgary's Southwest to reflect that balance we strive to maintain.  I am passionate about people and service, and I take that passion to my business, which is how Baruss Legal came to be.

She prides herself on attention to detail and ensuring that our clients have all the information they need to fully understand the work we’re doing. While Kaela works as a contractor for Baruss Legal, she is truly part of the BLegal family and Cherie says Kaela is her (not-so-secret) weapon.
